Our Best Jokes

We aren't comedians by any means, but we make each other laugh. 😁

Kieran - "What is a horses Favorite Wine? Chardo-neigh!"

Matt - "I’m a wine enthusiast. The more wine I drink, the more enthusiastic I get."

Alex - "Sonoma county makes great wine, Napa makes auto parts!"

Stephanie - "I drank so much wine last night that when I walked across the dance floor to get another glass; I won the dance competition."

'Twas the Wine Before Christmas

'Twas two weeks before Christmas, when all through the house
Every wine-lover was stirring, even the mouse;
The gifts were being ordered by email with care,
In hopes that our favorite Pinot would soon be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds;
While we opened up our favorite whites and reds;
And mamma with her Perry’s Ranch and I with my Van der Kamp,
Had just settled our glasses for a long winters nap,
When out in the vineyard there arose such a clatter,

A Love Letter to Pinot Noir

An Open Love Letter to Pinot Noir,

Indications are very strong that we shall move into harvest within a few days, perhaps even tomorrow. Lest I should not be able to write you again, I feel impelled to write a few lines, that may fall under your eye. I am well and hearty and devoutly hope and trust that this may reach you my dear in the enjoyment of fine health1.

History of Siduri

We thoroughly enjoy sharing the story of Siduri almost as much as we enjoy the delicious wines. The name originates from the Babylonian Goddess of wine. In the epic of Gilgamesh, Siduri portrayed a tavern keeper in human form and was an advocate for cherishing the pleasures of the world and that meant wine, of course! Often, the beautiful woman in the tavern is inspiration for many, but Adam took that inspiration to the next level.

National Limerick Day!

May 12th, 2021 is national Limerick Day, and since none of the Siduri team is a poet, we thought we should totally write our own. We hope you enjoy what we have come up with, and we would love for you to share your limericks with us! If you're feeling creative after a glass of wine or two share your limerick with us!

Carefully tried each wine, by vineyard and vine.
It was too late to avoid the trap, amazing pinots under these caps.

Anderson Valley Pinot Month

May is Anderson Valley Pinot month, and we are jazzed! Siduri started in Anderson Valley almost 20 years ago, back in 1994 and has a special place in our heart and is a special place for Pinot Noir. With elevations that reach up to 2,000 feet and consistently cool temperature throughout the day our vineyard sites are ideal for producing highly concentrated Pinot Noir with stellar acidity and color. Take home an Anderson Valley Pinot Noir today.

This Just In! Siduri has a Chardonnay!

Willamette Valley Chardonnays are united by an electric, finessed, savory and powerful style, driven the region’s terroir.
Propelling off this stylistic foundation, Matt Revelette, Siduri Winemaker, is pushing the boundaries of this varietal, showcasing the unique expression of the region.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of this amazing Willamette Valley Chardonnay to the Siduri portfolio, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

February 2017 Newsletter

As I am sure you’ve heard, it has been pretty wet here in California. While that is fantastic news for the vines it has, in a few cases, put us a little bit behind in getting things pruned. That’s not a big issue, but may end up pushing harvest back a few days if this rainy weather continues. However, just because it is wet outside, doesn’t mean that we aren’t busy inside the winery. In fact, we’ve been getting things done at a pretty remarkable pace.

Fall 2016 Newsletter

The 2016 Siduri and Novy harvest came to an end on Friday, October 7, 2016. At least that’s when we processed our last grapes. There’s still a great deal of work to do after the fruit arrives, with over 3 weeks of punchdowns, pressing, and clean up still ahead of us!
