Fall and Harvest Update from our Winemaker and Founder, Adam Lee

The 2016 Siduri and Novy harvest came to an end on Friday, October 7, 2016.  At least that’s when we processed our last grapes.  There’s still a great deal of work to do after the fruit arrives, with over 3 weeks of punchdowns, pressing, and clean up still ahead of us!  I am always reluctant to pass judgment on the quality of a harvest this early in the year.  If it’s a bad year I can figure that out right away, but it’s difficult to determine the difference between very good and great at this early stage.  The 2016 vintage is at least very good, and I feel really confident that there will be some outstanding wines made this year!  It will be awhile before we get to share these wines with you, but we promise you will have something to look forward to!

Speaking of good things in the future, we are already looking ahead to our Winter Open House!  Make sure you save the date on your calendar – December 3, 2016 from 11:00am-3:00pm.  As always we will pour a slew of great wines and have some fantastic wine promotions, plus a good amount of Holiday Cheer!  This is one of the highlights of the year for us, so please don’t miss it!

Cheers,

Adam Lee signature
