The 2023 Pinot Noir Seascape Vineyard from the West Sonoma Coast pours a vivid red hue and is focused and bright on the nose with notes of cinnamon, bright cranberries, compact redcurrants, fresh herbs, and briny saline. Medium-bodied, it has great tension and a bright spine of acidity that is so refreshing in this vintage. A very pretty wine, it has a lot to offer now or over the coming 10-12 years.
About This Wine
Redwood groves to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and a small, sunny ridge top planted to Pinot Noir in between - that is the picturesque Seascape Vineyard, sitting 1,150 feet above Bodega Bay. A beautiful, captivating vineyard – which is helpful while patiently waiting for it to ripen, as it is the last vineyard we pick almost every year.
