2025 Fall Wine Club
Hello Siduri Superfans!
I’m beyond excited to share the last of the 2023 lineup in your fall release, and let me tell you—this shipment’s packed with some heavy hitters! These wines are drinking beautifully now and are ready to pop and pour.
First up, we’ve got two of our all-time crowd-pleasers: Garys’ and Sierra Mar from the Santa Lucia Highlands. These vineyards are the backbone of what we do, and they’re showing off in a big way this vintage. For our old-school fans, Van Der Kamp is making a triumphant return from the Sonoma Mountain AVA. Representing our beloved Northern California, we’ve got Sealift from the Sonoma Coast and Skycrest from Mendocino’s Anderson Valley. And, of course, we couldn’t forget our Oregon contingent—Zena Crown from the Eola-Amity Hills of Willamette Valley is here to round things out.
But wait, there’s more! This release marks the debut of something truly special: the Founders’ Blend. This wine is a love letter to our roots, blending the very best three barrels from Rosella’s and Garys’—two vineyards that had an incredible vintage in 2023. It’s an homage to our founding winemakers, Adam and Dianna, our incredible partners in the Santa Lucia Highlands (shoutout to the Franscioni and Pisoni families), and, of course, all of you. While we don’t plan to make this wine every year, the 2023 vintage offered something too extraordinary not to share.
We hope to see you soon and raise a glass to this incredible vintage. On behalf of myself and the entire Siduri team, thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support. It’s an absolute privilege to work with this exceptional collection of vineyards, and we hope that we’ve captured their beauty and deliciousness for you to enjoy.
Cheers!
Matt Revelette and everyone here at Siduri
FEATURED: 2023 Sierra Mar Vineyard Pinot Noir
FROM THE VINEYARD
Rising over 1,000 feet above the Salinas Valley lies the rocky, sandy, windswept Sierra Mar Vineyard. Meaning “Mountain Sea” in Spanish, Sierra Mar is one of the most picturesque sites in the Siduri lineup, with the high elevation and cooling winds creating wines with dark, brambly fruit notes with a more broad-textured, grippy mouthfeel.
IN THE GLASS
Red and black cherries lead the way, backed by crushed rocks, violets and star anise. A powerful Pinot Noir that rewards patient cellaring, the Sierra Mar Vineyard produces wines with classic Santa Lucia Highlands muscle, but with verve and tension that carry the flavors through a long, succulent finish.
THE DETAILS
Aging: 14 months in 40% new French oak
Fermentation: Fully destemmed, 17 days on skins
Clones: 23, 777 & Pisoni Selection
Soil: Decomposed Granite, Rocky Loam
AVA: Santa Lucia Highland
2023 ZENA CROWN VINEYARD, EOLA-AMITY HILLS
Sourced from a single block of clone 667 in the middle of the prime hillside block of the vineyard – not only the winemaker’s favorite block but the vineyard managers’ as well – the 2023 Zena Crown is brimming with blue and black fruit with effortless refinement, structure, and acidity. One of the prime cuts of the vintage, this Zena Crown is ready to go and will reward cellaring for a decade. Learn more.
2023 SKYCREST VINEYARD, ANDERSON VALLEY
The cool climate of the Anderson Valley and the rocky soils of the Skycrest Vineyard join forces to produce wines with both “crunchy” fruit freshness and concentration that define the vineyard. Gentle tannin extraction in 2023 created a wine with plush textures and silkiness. Learn more.
2023 SEALIFT VINEYARD, WEST SONOMA COAST
Perched in the redwoods of the “far” Sonoma Coast, Sealift produces brooding, intense pinot noirs. The signature orange peel notes of Annapolis envelope dark fruit and smoky spices on the 2023, which is a hedonistic expression of Pinot Noir that we love. Learn more.
2023 VAN DER KAMP VINEYARD, SONOMA MOUNTAIN
A special site that we’ve enjoyed since 1996, the 2023 is a mix of co-fermented clone 23 and swan, backed by 828. A fresh, distinctive wine with accents of bay leaf, Van der Kamp is yet again a beautiful mainstay of the lineup. Learn more.
2023 GARYS' VINEYARD, SANTA LUCIA HIGHLANDS
Garys’ rewarded our patience with the later 2023 vintage with power and finesse – a classic Santa Lucia Highlands vintage. Youthful fruit to enjoy now with the structure to age for at least a decade, you can’t go wrong timing this one. Learn more.
2023 SIERRA MAR VINEYARD, SANTA LUCIA HIGHLANDS
The southern SLH benefitted greatly from a cooler growing season, with the 2023 Sierra Mar showing off effusive freshness that defined the vintage. The fruit, earth tones and structure are focused and distinctive, and will reward cellaring as well. Learn more.
