2026 Winter Wine Club
Hello Siduri Superfans!
With this shipment, our team is thrilled to reintroduce the concept of library wines for Club Babylon. This time, we’re showcasing a few favorite throwbacks from 2021, perfectly cellared for you to enjoy now or in a few years—your choice! Our goal is to let you experience how beautifully our Pinots age by doing the aging for you.
Your release includes six 2021 Pinot Noirs from across the Siduri coast. Starting up north in Oregon, the Gran Moraine Vineyard Pinot Noir is sourced from the upper slope of its stunning Willamette Valley estate. Whole-cluster fermentation pushes the earthy, smoky aromatics forward, elegantly framing the fruit.
In California, the Santa Lucia Highlands, south of Monterey Bay, is home to the Sierra Mar Vineyard Pinot Noir. High elevation and cooling winds encourage dark, brambly fruit notes and a grippy texture, with 2021 adding beautiful incense aromatics.
The Dutton-Perry Ranch and Bloomfield Vineyard Pinot Noirs hail from Sonoma County. Dutton-Perry, on the Russian River Valley’s western edge, consistently gives us outstanding Pinot with so tannins and cola notes. Bloomfield draws in wind and fog through the Petaluma Gap, translating this wild landscape into bramble, earth, and oral tones.
Our final stop: the Sta. Rita Hills, a cold strip on the western edge of Santa Barbara County, is shaped by the Pacific Ocean. The Perilune Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from rugged, windswept hillsides and valley floors. A standout in our Sta. Rita Hills blend, its best barrels earned a single-vineyard bottling. The Hapgood Vineyard Pinot Noir, sourced from a north-facing incline with clay loam, offers a denser palate. Never shy, it shows deftly balanced fruit, acid, earth, and tannin, with no hard edges.
Can you remember what you were doing five years ago? For me, it was my third vintage at Siduri, a year of discovery and learning that still continues. I love tasting how these wines have evolved with grace and exuberance—something we can all wish for ourselves! On behalf of the Siduri team, thank you for joining us on this journey through place and time with this wondrous grape. Cheers!
Cheers!
Matt Revelette and everyone here at Siduri
