DESCRIPTION

It would not be an overstatement to say that the 2022 vintage in the Willamette Valley was miraculous. After bud break, a devastating frost impacted the young buds in many areas of the valley, leaving the vines with a difficult road to recovery. But recover they did! After a cool and wet Spring, the calendar turned to July, and we were off to a warm and dry summer. The late, warm, bloom period and abundance of water in the ground set some relatively large clusters, so heavy thinning was essential. Oregon then experienced the warmest October on record, and with harvest not starting until the first week of October, we were unbelievably lucky. The wines are concentrated, fresh and vibrant – a vintage like no other.

"
The nicely balanced Gran Moraine makes its introduction with floral aromas of lilac powder, freesia and ripe red raspberries. Then crisp acidity and silky tannins frame flavors of bright red cherries, blueberry compote and orange zest. Quite a lively sipper."
