DESCRIPTION

The 2021 vintage was a welcome return to classic Willamette Valley after an incredibly challenging 2020. The Siduri Gran Moraine Pinot Noir is sourced from blocks on the upper slope of this gorgeous estate. The marine-sedimentary soil keeps the tannins in check while providing soaring aromatics. The blend consists of a small amount of whole cluster on clones 115 and 777, which push the earthy, smoky aromatics forward that frame the fruit elegantly.

"
A gorgeous Pinot Noir from the Gran Moraine site shows crushed raspberries on hot stone, cassia bark and dusty gravel. The palate is elegant and refined; delicate red and purple fruits are framed by blue florals; there is a depth of umami character marked by soy, balsamic and wet moss. Wonderful."
