Van der Kamp Vineyard

The Van der Kamp Vineyard has been in our vineyard portfolio since 1996, making it one of our longest standing sources. On the Western side of Sonoma Mountain, the vines are directly in the line of the fog and winds coming in off the Pacific Ocean and in through the Petaluma Gap. This allows our average harvest dates at Van der Kamp to be virtually the same as those on the Sonoma Coast. As always, the 2019 Van der Kamp is amongst the most distinctive, with a wet stone and pine resin character, along with blueberry compote and a slight hint of black tea. The 2019 vintage shows immense freshness balanced by concentration and backbone.
