Buffered from heat waves by the omnipresent coastal gusts from the adjacent Monterey Bay, Rosella's offers up a classic blueberry-tinged fruit profile, with hints of blackberry, rose, and anise. Equal parts clone 115 and 828 with just a splash of clone 777, which create a blend that is sleek and refined, yet with ample weight and richness. The balance of Rosella's vineyard always translates directly into the glass. The Franscioni family has an attention to detail that is hard to match – and this being Gary's home turf, the vineyard is always dialed in just right.
