Parsons' Vineyard

The 2018 Parsons Vineyard Pinot Noir shows juicy blackberry, black raspberries and cola notes on the nose, with the fruit gaining traction towards a long, seamless finish. From a site on the Santa Rosa Plains area of the Russian River Valley, the Parsons Vineyard consistently delivers the classic Russian River Valley fruit profile and balance. The Parsons' are very diligent farmers that we have worked with for over a decade and know exactly what style we are aiming for – and always hit the mark. The 2018 highlights the beautiful fruit notes from the 777 and 115 clones, anchored by more earthiness from whole-cluster fermented Pommard clone, which weaves in more complexity. Easy to drink right now, but this wine has great structure and is certainly built to last.
