DESCRIPTION

Always our last vineyard to pick in the Russian River Valley, the Lingenfelder Vineyard sits in a cooler spot of the Santa Rosa Plain and is planted with later ripening clones – Pommard and Martini. Mark Lingenfelder has been farming grapes in the Russian River Valley for well over three decades, and his home ranch always looks impeccable. The 2018 vintage of the Lingenfelder Vineyard is wonderfully lush up front, with dark fruit notes from the Martini clone given lift by the more floral Pommard clone. The ample palate weight is framed by elegant acidity that tightens the finish.

"
I loved the 2018 Pinot Noir Lingenfelder Vineyard. It's a beautiful, floral, complex Russian River Valley release offering vibrant red fruits, flowers, spice, and orange blossom-like aromas and flavors. With terrific overall balance, a layered mouthfeel, and ripe tannins, it's already delicious yet should easily keep for 4-6 years (and probably longer)."
