Ewald Vineyard

Situated on a gentle south-facing hill west of Santa Rosa, the Ewald Vineyard is one of the first vineyards to be picked for Siduri. The Ewald vineyard does not like to be picked ripe and makes much more interesting wines if it is picked on the early side. The 2018 is a great example of this – showing bright, fresh cherry aromatics and subtle spice on the nose, with silky tannins and freshness from the acid. This vineyard has beautiful aromatics and fruit purity that make it a great candidate to drink early but shows enough restraint to earn it plenty of ageing time in the cellar.
