DESCRIPTION

Just a stone's throw from where it all began for Siduri back in 1994 lies the Edmeades Vineyard, nestled atop a hillside in the "Poleeko" neighborhood of Anderson Valley. The huge diurnal swings in this area of Anderson Valley provide fresh, crunchy fruit and soaring aromatics. Clone 667 displays fresh strawberries, violets, and pennyroyals on a solid frame with ample polished tannins. The Calera clone – which sets a relatively juicy cluster – provides fresh cherry and rose petals, with an undercurrent of acid that blends seamlessly with the 667 clone. Weighty through the midpalate yet elegant, the 2022 Edmeades Vineyard Pinot Noir is set up for a long life in the cellar.

"
Heading north to the Anderson Valley, the 2022 Pinot Noir Edmeades Vineyard comes from the 667 and Calera clones and is a youthful magenta/ruby color. It shows off notes of raspberry liqueur, nutmeg, violets, and mossy earth. I really like the structure in this win, which is medium-bodied and has well-defined tannins and a mouthwatering spice on the palate, with fresh acidity that holds on. Drink 2025-2035."
