2007 Siduri Clos Pepe Vineyard Pinot Noir

An unreleased Siduri Pinot Noir from the great 2007 vintage? As hard as it is to believe, we haven’t actually released all of our 2007 Pinots. And, in the case of the 2007 Clos Pepe, we have saved one of the best for last.
We held on to the Clos Pepe because, like a lot of Santa Rita Hills offerings, the wine was somewhat tight and tannic and was, in our opinion, going to benefit from some additional
time in bottle. While this is true for many of our wines, it seemed especially so with the 2007 Clos Pepe so, despite some excellent press, we have largely sat on the wine releasing it only upon request. The wine is now drinking wonderfully and we thought it a perfect addition to this offering.
The 2007 Siduri Clos Pepe Vineyard Pinot Noir has already received a 91 Point Rating from Wine Spectator. Here’s how they described the wine, “Focused and well-balanced, with the dried currant, black cherry, blueberry and mineral notes evenly distributed. Offers a mix of intensity and firm tannins, with a supple midpalate.”
