Winemakers' Comments
We can say without hesitation that this is the finest Russian River Valley Appellation Pinot Noir that we have produced. The pedigree is certainly impeccable as it is a blend of 43% Olivet Grange fruit, 38% Sapphire Hill fruit, and 19% Keefer Ranch. The wine shows the typical Russian River Valley flavor profile with ample raspberry and black cherry fruit, a slight hint of herbs, and a rich, fat finish. This is a hedonistic wine made for drinking everyday.

Accolades for the 2003 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

This is a blend of the best barrels from Keefer Ranch, Olivet Grange and Sapphire vineyards; it’s deep and lush with great balance and a nice silky mouthfeel.
