Winemakers’ Comments
The Rosella’s Vineyard has quickly established itself as one of the top 3 vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands Appellation along with the Pisoni and Garys’ Vineyards. To our palate, the wines from this property show a lush, creamy, plum flavored mouth feel that is totally unique to the vineyard. The 2003 also shows a more aromatic nose and a longer finish than our previous releases of this wine. Unfortunately, we only produced 125 cases of this wine.

Accolades for the 2003 Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir
Rating: 90 - The 2003 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard's sassafras (beet root) character is accompanied by notes of black currants, smoke, earth, herbs, and tar, tart acidity, and an elegant finish with outstanding depth. Consume it over the next 4-5 years.
- Robert Parker

Typical Rosella’s—pretty, spice, black cherry, smoky with good depth and a lot to like.
