Meet the newest additions to our Siduri Team!

We are excited to introduce the newest members of the Siduri team, Sarah Weuthrich, our new Assistant Winemaker and Tyler Bruner, our new Tasting Room Manager. They come to us with extensive and varied backgrounds in the world of winemaking and hospitality. We’re so excited for the experience and passion they bring to the team.

A little bit about them in their own words….

I’ve been drawn to science since a very early age and by high school, I knew I would pursue my passion for science in college; I just didn’t know what discipline. That all changed my freshman year at UC Davis when I signed up for Intro to Winemaking, and was hooked. I fell in love with the mix of culture, creativity, science and “getting your hands dirty”.

After graduating with a degree in Enology, I since have worked at a number of wineries, wearing a number of different hats, from a Lab Tech to Enologist/Lab Manager to Associate Winemaker.

Several years ago I left the industry to start a family. Following the birth of my first child, I seriously considered giving up my winemaking career, but I just couldn’t stay away! I was so excited when the opportunity to join Siduri presented myself as I’ve always admired the Adam and Ryan’s style and the passion they have for crafting some of the world’s best Pinot Noirs.

I’m a huge fan of live music, travel and baking – when I have the time! I live with husband Ernest, son Oliver, daughter Quincy, and Welsh Corgi Fonzi in Bennett Valley.

I grew up in the central valley of California and upon graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, I took my culinary education to Las Vegas. Here my passion for wine grew and blossomed while working with Master Sommeliers and veteran wine industry leadership. It was a trip to Sonoma County during the 2012 harvest that finally convinced me to leave Vegas and in 2014 I joined the crew at Siduri as a harvest intern.

After a brief hiatus I have returned to Siduri with more experience and will be leading the team in the tasting rooms.

I am thrilled to be back on the team! When I'm not working you can find me with my wife and (two?) daughters exploring Sonoma County.
